Student Skate Nights

BGSU hosts a weekly ice skating opportunity every Thursday evening at Slater Family Ice Arena. Whether you're looking for a break from studying, a chance to move around, or simply an enjoyable evening activity, this is an open, informal gathering welcoming skaters of all abilities—from first-timers to experienced skaters. You're welcome to bring friends, invite neighbors, or come on your own and meet new people in a relaxed setting. Admission is $5 for BGSU students, with skate rentals available for an additional $3. No registration is required to attend, though signing up ahead of time can help streamline your arrival. If you need accessibility services or accommodations to participate, reach out to the university's Accessibility Services office before the event.
