Studio Tenn Presents: It’s A Wonderful Life

Studio Tenn brings this holiday classic to life in a truly unique way. Five talented actors perform the entire story of George Bailey on the Turner Theater stage, recreating it as a 1940s radio broadcast complete with vintage microphones, live sound effects, and music. You'll experience the magic of Christmas Eve 1943 as the cast brings every character and moment of this heartwarming tale to vivid life right before your eyes. The production runs about two hours with a 15-minute intermission. This beloved story is perfect for families looking to create holiday memories together. Studio Tenn recommends the show for ages 12 and up (there is a reference to thoughts of suicide in the story). The theater offers several special performances to meet different needs: an ASL-interpreted show, a sensory-friendly performance with modified lighting and sound plus calming spaces, and a talk-back session where you can meet the cast and artistic director. Tickets start at $30, with discounts available for students, military families, educators, and groups of eight or more. Purchase tickets through Ticketmaster.com or call the box office at (615) 541-8200 ext. 1.
