Studio Tenn Presents: It’s A Wonderful Life

Studio Tenn is bringing back this sold-out holiday favorite as a unique theatrical experience. Five talented actors recreate the entire story of George Bailey on stage using vintage microphones, live sound effects, and music—performed as a 1940s radio broadcast. You'll feel transported to Christmas Eve 1943 as the cast brings the town of Bedford Falls to life right before your eyes, complete with every character and moment of this cherished story. The original cast returns to deliver the heart, humor, and nostalgia that made audiences fall in love with this production the first time around. This heartwarming show runs about two hours with a 15-minute intermission and is recommended for ages 12 and up (it does touch on themes of suicide). Tickets start at $30, with discounts available for students, military, educators, and groups of eight or more. Studio Tenn offers special accessible performances, including an ASL-interpreted showing and a sensory-friendly matinee with modified lighting, sound, and noise-reducing headphones. There's also a talk-back performance where you can chat with the artistic director and cast members after the show.
