STUDY HALL (Open Studio)
Open studio art space in Cincinnati for creative exploration and hands-on making.
STUDY HALL is a twice-weekly open studio session where artists of all levels can work on their craft in a supportive, professional setting. Whether your child is new to drawing or already experienced, they'll have access to nearly 10,000 square feet of studio space filled with resources—including over 40 classical anatomical casts (the only public regional collection of its kind for drawing), hundreds of natural specimens, and various studio equipment. Moderators are on hand to guide participants as they work.
Sessions run on Friday and Sunday afternoons, and the space provides drawing horses, easels, and additional seating on a first-come, first-served basis. This is a free opportunity, though participants should bring their own art supplies. It's ideal for students working on school assignments or anyone seeking a creative community and dedicated space to practice their drawing skills. Registration is required, so check the event page for specific session times and to sign up.
