Tasty Tuesday

Tasty Tuesday brings cooking and science together in the Discovery Center's FRANKE Kitchen! Kids get hands-on with real ingredients, mixing and experimenting to create their own edible projects. An instructor guides them through the basics—measuring, stirring, and watching chemical reactions happen, like dough rising or chocolate melting. It's a fun way for children to build confidence in the kitchen while discovering how science shows up in everyday cooking. This program is included with your museum admission, and each session welcomes up to 24 young participants. It's perfect for kids who are curious about food, enjoy getting messy, and want to explore cooking through a STEAM lens. If your family's already planning a visit to the Discovery Center, Tasty Tuesday adds an extra layer of learning and creativity to your day.
