Teen Choice
Games, crafts & activities for teens at Carnegie Library's Oakland branch.
Teen Choice is a casual hangout designed for middle and high school students who enjoy creative pursuits and downtime. The program features hands-on projects, games, music, and books—so whether your teen is into crafting, gaming, reading, or just relaxing with peers, there's something to engage with here. It's a low-pressure way for grades 6–12 to spend an afternoon doing things they actually enjoy.
The event takes place at the main library location in Oakland. This is a great option if your teen is looking for a structured but flexible activity where they can pursue their interests alongside other young people. Stop by and let them explore what appeals to them most during the hour-long session.
