Teen Choice

Teens in grades 6–12 are invited to hang out at the library for an afternoon of creative fun. This program brings together a mix of activities including hands-on projects, games, music, and books—so whether you're looking to make something, play, or simply relax with friends, there's something here for you. It's a low-pressure way for teens to explore their interests and connect with peers who share similar hobbies. The program takes place at the main library location in Oakland. This is a casual, drop-in style gathering perfect for teens who want to spend an hour doing what they enjoy most. If your teen is interested in creative pursuits, gaming, or just having a chill afternoon at the library, this event welcomes them to join in.
