Teen Hangout

Looking for a casual after-school spot where your teenager can unwind and socialize? Teen Hangout welcomes students in grades 6–12 to gather for an hour and a half of activities and games in a supervised, relaxed environment. There's no need to register ahead of time—just drop in whenever it works for your schedule. The program runs from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. and takes place at the Mechanicsville Meeting Room A. Staff will be on hand throughout, and a variety of games and activities are available for participants to enjoy. If your teen has specific accessibility needs or you'd like more details about what to expect, the Mechanicsville Branch Library team is happy to help. Reach out by email or phone to ask any questions.
