Teen Hangout

Teen Hangout is a casual after-school program at the Mechanicsville Branch designed for middle and high school students in grades 6–12. Young people can stop by for an hour and a half of supervised time with peers, featuring games and activities provided by staff. There's no need to sign up in advance—students can simply drop in whenever it works with their schedule. This is a great option for teens looking for a relaxed place to spend time after school. If your teen has questions about the program or needs to discuss any accessibility accommodations, the library staff is happy to help. You can reach out to ask@pamunkeylibrary.org or call the Mechanicsville Branch directly at 804-746-9615 for more details.
