Teen Hangout

**Teen Hangout** Middle and high schoolers in grades 6–12 are invited to drop by Teen Hangout for a relaxed after-school gathering. The program runs for about an hour and a half, with staff on hand to supervise and lead activities and games throughout the session. There's no need to sign up in advance—teens can simply show up whenever they're able to make it. This is a casual, no-pressure space designed to give young people a place to unwind after the school day. If your teen has questions about what to expect or needs accommodations related to accessibility or communication, the library staff are happy to help. Reach out to the Mechanicsville Branch Library by phone or email for more details.
