Teen self-defense class builds confidence and personal safety skills with Ohio Martial Arts.

Teens interested in learning practical self-defense techniques have a great opportunity at this special session led by Senpai Shelly Blanco from Ohio Martial Arts. The instructor focuses on making self-defense accessible and engaging for young people, breaking down the skills in ways that are straightforward and enjoyable to learn. This is an ideal introduction for teens who want to build confidence and awareness in a supportive environment. The one-hour class runs from 3:30 to 4:30 PM at Locke Library's meeting room. There are currently 20 seats available, so registration is recommended to secure your teen's spot. The venue is handicapped accessible, making it welcoming for all participants.
