Teen Time: Modern Beadwork with Perler Beads
Teens explore Native American beading traditions and create perler bead art.
Teens are invited to explore Native American beading traditions and create their own artistic project using Perler beads during this one-hour session. This hands-on program combines learning about Indigenous artistic heritage with the chance to make something to take home. It's a great fit for teens interested in crafts, cultural traditions, or trying a new creative activity.
This event is part of the library's Native American and Indigenous Peoples Heritage Month programming, offering a meaningful way to engage with and celebrate Native cultures. The program runs for an hour at the Squirrel Hill location of Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. For questions or to register, you can reach the library at 412-622-3114 or visit their website.
