Teen Time: Modern Beadwork with Perler Beads

Teen Time: Modern Beadwork with Perler Beads

Teens learn Native American beading traditions and create perler bead art at the library.

Teens are invited to discover the rich traditions of Native American beadwork during this hands-on session at the Beechview library. Participants will learn about different beading styles and then create their own colorful perler bead project to take home. It's a great opportunity to explore Indigenous artistic traditions while making something fun. This program is part of the library's Native American and Indigenous Peoples Heritage Month celebration in November. The event runs for one hour and is designed specifically for teenagers. If you'd like more information or have questions, you can reach the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh at 412-622-3114 or visit their website.
