Teens Making a Difference Through Service

Is your teen interested in volunteering and earning service hours? This program brings together young people to work on meaningful hands-on projects that benefit local organizations in our community. It's a great way to gain volunteer experience, make a tangible impact, and earn documentation of service hours—all in just a couple of hours. The program welcomes teens ages 11–17 and is specifically designed for those who haven't yet participated in the library's school-year volunteer training. No prior experience is needed. After completing the event, participants will receive a certificate recognizing their service hours. While registration is encouraged to help with planning, it's not required, so you can sign up ahead of time or just show up on the day.
