Teens: Sew a Felt Frog Bookmark

Teens: Sew a Felt Frog Bookmark

Teen hand-sewing class where 6th–12th graders create a felt frog bookmark at the library.

**Teens: Sew a Felt Frog Bookmark** Middle and high school students are invited to try their hand at hand sewing during this library craft session. Participants will learn fundamental techniques including threading needles, tying knots, and practicing both blanket stitch and running stitch while creating a charming felt frog bookmark to take home. All materials are provided, so no prior sewing experience is needed—just bring your interest in learning a new skill. To ensure everyone has time to finish their project, arriving on time is important. Registration is required for this program, which is designed for students in grades 6–12 only. The session takes place in the flex space program room on the first floor of the library. Parents should arrange to drop off their teen at the start and pick them up at the end of the activity. This is a great opportunity for young people to explore a creative hobby and leave with a finished handmade keepsake.
