The Blade Holiday Parade
Free holiday parade downtown Toledo featuring floats, marching bands, and seasonal magic.
Join families throughout the Toledo area for a festive morning celebrating the season in Downtown Toledo's 39th annual holiday parade. You'll see giant character balloons, marching bands from the community, clowns on horseback, and decorated floats rolling down the streets—plus a special appearance from Santa himself. It's a wonderful opportunity to start or continue a family holiday tradition together.
To make the most of your experience, bundle up since November weather can be cool, and consider bringing folding chairs or blankets for comfortable viewing along the route. Arriving early will help you secure a good spot and soak in the pre-parade excitement. The parade route runs from N. Summit Street and Jefferson Avenue through Jackson Boulevard and continues to Washington Street. Portable restrooms, including handicap-accessible options, are available along the route. Be aware that street closures begin at 8 a.m., so plan your arrival and departure accordingly—streets reopen about 20 minutes after the parade ends.
