Tinkering Takeover
Hands-on tinkering and making at Kent Library.
Kids ages 6 to 10 are invited to dive into hands-on science and engineering during Tinkering Takeover at Kent Library. This two-hour program combines interactive activities with creative problem-solving, giving children the chance to explore circuits, coding, fabrication, and other STEAM concepts in a supportive environment. The event runs from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and takes place in Meeting Room A, which can accommodate up to 85 participants.
This program is brought to life through a partnership between Imagination Station, Toledo Lucas County Public Library, and Northwest State Community College, with support from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. It's a great opportunity for young learners who enjoy tinkering with ideas and building things, whether they're new to these topics or already curious about how things work.
