Toledo Walleye Opening Night

Opening Night is the Toledo Walleye's season kickoff, bringing professional hockey to the Huntington Center with an exciting matchup against Fort Wayne. This is one of the most anticipated events of the year for local hockey fans and families looking for live sports entertainment. The celebration extends beyond the game itself. Before puck drop, families can head to the Opening Night Block Party at Hensville Park, running from 4–6 p.m., where admission is free. You'll find live DJ music, yard games, and other pregame activities to build excitement. At the game, the first 8,000 fans receive a rally towel as a giveaway. Tickets are available for purchase, and the venue offers various seating options and group outings.
