Try Japanese Ikebana: Cascading Arrangement Workshop
Learn Japanese ikebana flower arranging in a beginner-friendly hands-on workshop.
Join this hands-on workshop to explore ikebana, the traditional Japanese flower-arranging art form. During the session, you'll create a cascading-style arrangement using the Ohara School technique, working with a tall vase to craft an elegant piece with graceful downward lines. The instructor will guide you through special methods for securing your materials so everything stays beautifully in place. All flowers are provided for you to work with, and if you need them, you can borrow a tall vase and scissors.
This class welcomes complete beginners—no prior experience with flower arranging is necessary. It's a great activity for older kids and teens who enjoy working with their hands and learning about different cultures, as well as for adults looking to try something new. Families with teenagers might especially enjoy attending together.
