Turkey Time in Fused Glass at Copper Moon

This seasonal project invites families to work together creating a colorful fused glass turkey that becomes a keepsake decoration. Participants arrange seven individual glass feathers and assemble them into a finished piece that includes a metal display stand—the completed turkey measures approximately 15 by 15 inches. The glass has a smooth finish, and creation time depends on your group's size and design choices. This activity welcomes ages 4 and up, making it accessible for young artists and adults alike. The Turkey Time project costs $185 per piece and is available through the end of November. You'll want to reserve your spot ahead of time, and plan for about a week of kiln firing before picking up your finished creation. No prior experience with glass art is needed—Copper Moon's instructors guide you through the process. If you prefer to stop by without advance planning, walk-ins are welcome during regular studio hours, though larger groups (six or more people) should call ahead to ensure space is available.
