Twisted Tie-Dye

Kids and teens are invited to a hands-on tie-dye session at Birmingham Library. You'll get to choose from classic color schemes—think patriotic reds, whites and blues, vibrant rainbow patterns, or your favorite sports team colors. The library provides blank items ready to dye, or feel free to bring something of your own from home if you'd prefer to customize a personal piece. This is a creative, messy activity, so plan accordingly and dress your child in clothes that can handle some dye splatter. You'll leave with a one-of-a-kind creation to take home. It's a great option for kids ages six through seventeen who enjoy hands-on art projects.
