UWM Distinguished Lecture Series: An Evening with Renée Elise Goldsberry at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
Renée Elise Goldsberry, the Tony and Grammy Award-winning performer best known for originating the role of Angelica Schuyler in Hamilton, is coming to UWM for a special evening conversation. Goldsberry has an impressive career spanning Broadway (Rent, The Color Purple, The Lion King), television (Girls5Eva, The Good Wife), and film. Most recently, she released her debut album, Who I Really Am, blending soul, blues, pop, and folk influences, and she's the subject of the 2025 documentary Satisfied, which follows her Hamilton experience alongside her personal journey into motherhood.
The event will take the form of a moderated discussion hosted by UW-Milwaukee's Associate Professor of Theatre, Sheri Williams Pannell, giving families and fans a chance to hear directly from this accomplished artist. The gathering is being hosted at the UWM Union and is open to the community. If you or anyone in your group needs accommodations to attend comfortably, reach out to activities@uwm.edu with your requests.
