Volunteer Workday- Tool Maintenance at Churchill Valley Greenway

Help prepare the tools that keep Churchill Valley Greenway thriving! Join the stewardship team for a hands-on maintenance session where you'll clean, sharpen, and restore the shovels, hoes, saws, and pruners used throughout the year. This is a perfect way to contribute to the greenway's success while learning practical skills. All gloves and tools are provided—you just need to bring yourself and a lawn chair to make the afternoon comfortable. This event works well for teens (with an adult) and adults looking for meaningful volunteer time. Plan to stay a few hours and wear long pants and closed-toed shoes. Please note there are no restrooms available on site. Registration is required to participate, and you'll receive detailed information about the day via email once you sign up. This volunteer opportunity is free to join.
