Volunteers 1st Day
Family volunteer opportunity at the National Museum of the Great Lakes on the first of each month.
Is your family looking for a meaningful way to give back? The National Museum of the Great Lakes invites volunteers of all ages and interests to join their crew on the first day of each month. During this recurring volunteer opportunity, you'll help support the museum's mission while discovering what goes on behind the scenes at this local institution.
The types of work available change seasonally based on what the museum needs most, so each visit offers something different. Whether your family members are interested in greeting visitors as docents, helping with administrative tasks, working outdoors on landscaping, or assisting with special events and research, there's a role for everyone. If you'd like to learn more about volunteering as a group or corporation, you can reach out to the museum directly at volunteer@nmgl.org.
