Warhol-Inspired Wildflowers with Molly Miller

Warhol-Inspired Wildflowers with Molly Miller

Pop-art wildflower craft inspired by Warhol at Waterville.

Get creative with a pop-art twist at this hands-on art session led by instructor Molly Miller. Kids will explore the bold, colorful style of Andy Warhol by creating their own flower artwork. The process involves painting flower shapes with tempera paint, then layering them over oil pastel backgrounds to build a three-dimensional effect. It's a fun way to learn about a famous artist while making something vibrant to take home. This 45-minute program is designed for children ages 6โ€“10 and takes place in Meeting Room A at the Waterville Library. All the materials and instruction are provided, so kids just need to bring their imagination. The room holds up to 47 people and is handicapped accessible, making it welcoming for all families. If you have questions or need more details, you can reach the Waterville branch at 419.878.3055.
