Why Trees Matter: Papermaking with KTLCB

Join Keep Toledo/Lucas County Beautiful for an engaging hands-on workshop about the role trees play in our environment. Kids will get to see papermaking up close by simulating how a recycling facility works. You'll take old paper, break it down into pulp, and create brand new paper from scratch. It's a fun, interactive way to learn about resource conservation and environmental stewardship. This program is designed for children ages 6 to 10 and accommodates up to 40 participants. The activity runs for one hour at Locke Library's meeting room, which is handicapped accessible. If you have questions before attending, the library is happy to help—just give them a call.
