Why Trees Matter: Papermaking with KTLCB

Join Keep Toledo/Lucas County Beautiful for a hands-on exploration of why trees matter to our environment. During this 45-minute session, your child will get to see how paper recycling works by simulating a real recycling facility. Participants will take old paper and transform it into paper pulp, then create brand new paper from scratch. It's a practical way to understand both the environmental impact of trees and the power of recycling. This program is designed for kids ages 6 to 10 and takes place in Meeting Room B at Kent Library, which has a capacity of 40 participants.
