Winter Nights | Fat Tuesday Celebration

Great Lakes Brass brings the spirit of New Orleans to Meijer Gardens for this special Fat Tuesday celebration. The band will fill the gardens with energetic brass music, traditional Mardi Gras songs, and creative covers that blend New Orleans tradition with a Great Lakes flavor. This high-energy performance serves as the grand finale of Carnival season and promises to get families moving with infectious rhythms and bold grooves that span from iconic classics to fresh, funky originals. Winter Nights at Meijer Gardens offers an evening of music, art, and seasonal atmosphere. Beyond the live performance, you'll explore illuminated installations and whimsical projections throughout the gardens after dark. The James & Shirley Balk Café will serve themed food and drinks, including smoked chicken and sausage gumbo and French Quarter beignets. General admission covers café items and entertainment. Members get in free, while standard ticket prices apply for non-members ($25 adults, $19 students, $14 children ages 3–13, $20 seniors).
