Yarn Therapy

Yarn Therapy

Learn to crochet or work on your own yarn projects with teen crafters at the library.

Looking for a relaxing activity for your teen? Yarn Therapy offers a welcoming space where young people ages 12–18 can work on crochet projects at their own pace. Whether your child is an experienced crocheter looking to unwind or someone interested in picking up the craft for the first time, this session accommodates both. All materials are provided, so there's nothing to bring along. The program runs for about an hour and a half in the Teen Area. No registration is needed—just drop in and join. This is a great opportunity for teens to explore their creative side, learn new techniques, and enjoy some quiet, focused time. If you have questions, reach out to Krista Howell at krista.howell@yclibrary.org or (803) 981-5870.
