Artful Keys: Celebrating Tatum

**Artful Keys: Celebrating Tatum** Join pianist Theron Brown and conductor Alain Trudel for an evening exploring the musical legacy of Art Tatum, a jazz pioneer whose innovative style continues to influence musicians today. Brown, a Toledo native, takes center stage to perform pieces that showcase both the technical brilliance and harmonic complexity that made Tatum's work so distinctive. This concert brings together a celebrated global jazz figure with the community where his influence first took root. The performance takes place at the Valentine Theatre and runs about two hours. This event is ideal for families interested in jazz history and live orchestral performance, though it's geared toward listeners who appreciate more sophisticated musical storytelling.
